Where're my holidays?!?!?!?

juz where are my freaking jun holidays?!?!?!?! i have been so bloody busy that i don't even get the chance to log on Maple Story after the ossyria new maps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! grrrrrr.... the worse thing is i don't see how this is going to get better throughout the entire jun hol!!!! T^T

i've watched harmo & guitar concert this fri. the harmo part is interesting... but the guitar part got quite boring after a while. for i still believe guitar is not an instrument that u can play as a group & harmonise well. it's juz not designed for this purpose. it only gets interesting & pleasant sounding when it's played as base chord accompanied by singing. anyway... the concert is quite ok.

then i went for a CL test & extra lesson this morning... juz came back from a drama performance in Esplanade called Amber. nice music + visual effects & the story is something different. GREAT performance.

ok... i will juz list out the things i have to do for the rest of the.. *cough*.. holiday. =_="

Week 1:
mon ~ tue => maths make-up lectures.
wed => Marriot Hotel industry tour.
thu ~ sat => CIP from morning to afternoon...
sun => leaving singapore for the exchange programme with China. =_=

Week 2:
*in shanghai... the exchange programme*
my chinese teacher asked me to bring alone the HCL text so she can have revision with me during free time. WOW~ wat a fruitful trip... =_="

Week 3:
mon ~ Wed => still in shanghai... aha.
thu => back from the exchange programme at 5AM... it's AM... god.

now... i left with ONE WEEK AND TWO DAYS TO STUDY FOR THE BLOODY COMMON TEST!!!!!!!!!!!

GOD~ save me... no wonder my HCL teacher wants me to bring alone the text to help me revise. i gotta thank her for pulling me slightly away from hell.

PS. i'm on diet for like a mth... controlling my calories intake below 500 per day. cos i'm so sick of my weight starting with 5X kg. i muz get it to something like 4Xkg or 50kg. apparently, it works REALLY WELL with exercising. & it's really important NOT TO EAT DINNER. so to control the amt of calories, i've only eaten half a packet of instant noodles + 1 bowl of plain porridge today.

Band + CO Rhapsody

i juz came back from the rhapsody 1.5hrs ago. the concert is fantastic~ more than what i've expected. well... at 1st i juz thought "ok, ANOTHER concert..." but it turned out 2b another concert that's quite interesting & enjoyable. =D

i love Phantom of the Opera, Jiang Jun Ling + Long De Chuan Ren. the whole thing turned out 2b very cohesive & packed. i can say that there wasn't any moment i felt bored.. unlike some of the concerts i've watched with my parents. LOL~ may be i have different tastes as them. however, considered the fact that this concert can satisfy my mum's picky taste, (she went out of curiosity & sat at 4th floor... i was on the 1st floor with stella & joyceS) & made her say that the standard is almost comparable to SCO, it should be rather amazing! haha...

overall, i think it really worths my 20 bucks. oh ya, jia jia & ee jun looks funny together.... HAHAHAHAHAHA~ gotta tease her on this for the entire next week. XD

but the fun night ended with something unpleasant.. that was.... i ate a plate of fried rice aft the concert with my mum & it has 700-800 calories!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG...... i am still repenting immensely of what i put into my mouth at 11pm+. i wanted to skip for like an hour to burn away the freaking calories... only to realise i'm totally drained from running around in heels tonight. so i only skipped for half an hr. damn... gotta work harder tmr. zzzz.......

Star Wars III & rhapsody concert

i juz watched The Revenge of the Sith. omg this is the NICEST Star Wars movies i've watched out of the 1st 3 episodes!!!! Hayden Christensen is HOTTTTTT... *droooooool* i'm totally in love with him now. XD so it's kinda sad to see him being '"disfigured" at the end & turning into Darth Vader. awwwwww! the character development is more in depth compares to the 1st 2. this leads to more complex & interesting relationship between each character, therefore creating those emotional intense scences. + the love between padme & skywalker is more touching...

one more thing, the music is absolutely AMAZING~~~~~~ i'm so love with the love theme for padme & anakin, "Across the Stars" i tried to download it online but i cant find it.... *sobs* my god... who can help me find this piece of music??????

i'm going to the band + CO rhapsody concert in esplanade tmr night. ahh.. i'm so excited about it~! i've decided to wear a pink fluffy strap top + a pink long skirt + light purple heels... & a pink shade handbag ~*^____^*~ ok, basically they are all in the pink shades. LOL! stella said we are all going to put make up... this is gonna be fun, seeing each other dress up nicely WITH make-up is kinda rare. i'm really looking forward to tmr night....

The meaning of donation

apparently, my school doesn't have the slightest idea of what DONATION means.

i was forced to fork out $2 just to wear home clothes on "Be Yourself Day", that is nxt friday. i thought i have a choice in deciding if i want to wear sch uniform or home clothes?!?!?!????? as ironic as the name of the day sounds, i can NEITHER decide on what to wear, NOR to decide on if i want to pay the two bucks. oh ya, the 2 bucks are supposed 2b the DONATION to the charity. how wonderful... & i dont even know the name of the charity organisation. =____=|||

i'm not being stingy with $2 but simply got UTTERLY IRRITATED by the way they collected the money, & the fact that they don't even annouce the benefited organisation. the sch didnt see the importance behind giving out the money WILLINGLY to help others. Donations are NEVER meant to be compulsory but solely voluntarily. if it decided to raise funds by letting students to donate whatever sums they want, i will give out 10 bucks happily. however, this didn't happen.

i don't see how the sch can nurture caring leaders (LMAO!!!) by forcing pple to fork out money for donations. students are not robots & the sch can operate us by giving commands, without understanding the real meaning behind things. it's sad to see that as an education institute that aims to nurture caring students, doesn't seem to understand.

CLDDS annual performance - An Yu

the performance juz ended at around 9pm. hmm... it seems like a success, surprisingly.

i'm surprised cos we simply have too little time to prepair for the performance. the preparation juz started 1 month + ago... meaning, they juz started writing the scripts a month ago!!! the rehearsals were always in chaos. i cant figure out what was going on & the actors/actresses kept getting nagged for LOL during the performance...haha. & even 2 days before the actual performance, we got a good scolding from the teacher-in-charge. ^^;; somehow, things start to piece together at the last minute..& the whole thing is well received by the audience. =D

JX is totally puzzled why we used to tell her the performance may suck. she even said it's better than the NYJC performance as ours is much more interesting. lol... i think it's cos jia jia & i have prepared her for the worst. so she walked in with minimum expectations but realised it's actually pretty good. this juz shows that it's better NOT to expect anything... like the old saying: higher expectation = greater disappointment. ROFL. XD

sim, ah cai, pong & may came to support stella & i~! though i only managed to catch a glimpse of may before she went for CO. haha... i'm really very happy to see them. it's such a big encouragement to see my clique around at such moments. & they even bought roses for us~~~~~~~~ omg i love pink rose... it's so lovely!!!!! ~*^_____^*~ it makes my mum think the rose is from a guy. HAHAHAHAHA... like real. who said only guys can give roses? & the group of us from CL had a great time crapping things together. lol... a group of crazy people. like stella & i "fighting" over this rather decent looking J1 guy in CL. btw he was in pink shirt. OH PINK.... ROFL~~~~ i think both of us are mad tonight....

anyway, i had fun tonight & so far, all the feedbacks i get are quite good. that's a success to me already...

Random thoughts...

a lot of things are going on these few days. so i didnt get the chance to update my blog.

anyway... here are the few things i'm going to do or have done.

1) CLDDS performance this friday & i'm singing for the opening + finale. (dotssss... *speechless*)
2) i went to make a new pair of specs ytd. it's PINK~~~~ ahaha.
3) my pd tutor played Guang Liang's Tong Hua animation MV during chem tutorial last week. LOL. not exactly the things i've done... but it's kinda interesting to note down. & i absolutely LOVE the song. ~^____^~
4) the maplestory heat continues to burn. hahaha~

5) maths SDL topic class assessment on descriptive stats. (=___=)|||
6) chem SPA. well..the LAST ONE & most probably the one that needs the most memory work.
7) chem common test nxt mon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! *puke blood* my god... there are so many topics & i want to faint juz by looking at the stack of notes. *bang wall*

Student's dialogue session with the sch.. HA!

this got 2b a joke. & it proves me right with the outcome of the session.

well, the entire J2 had this highly entertaining dialogue session with the sch admin, meaning the VP & some councillors on the issue of sch spirits. yes, wat about the sch spirit?????? this is a million-dollar qn cos I HAVE COMPLETELY NO IDEA what about the sch spirit after the whole session!!!!!!!!!!! the whole thing is a piece of crap. it juz turned out 2b the students bringing up the problems & the VP explaining WHY THE SCH CANNOT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT. OR, how well the sch treats us & giving us the all sorta privileges. *roll eyes*

c'mon, if the sch is unwilling to SOLVE the problems we brought up, not giving fanciful excuses, then why bother to have this damn dialogue session?!?!?!? & i'm still wondering... so what can be done with the sch spirits?!?!?!?!

though i need to say that the students who were asking the qns may be a bit too passionate & extreme. & the teachers were quite right about safety being very important. but they brought up quite a no. of important issues & they were either disregarded, or the real intention of the Qn was distorted. such as the sch protocols being too rigid & even insensible, & the teachers have a part to play in the sch spirits (oh finally, someone mentioned sch spirits) too. but juz look at what kind of craps we received...

"oh, the sch has to function in a certain way due to limited resources we have. like the timetable... it cant be changed as & when u like "

"the teachers have a certain role to play. they cant be jumping & dancing around. if they do... u will be saying 'aha~ look at that teacher! s/he doesnt know how to behave!' blah blah blah... "

ok.. if they want to interpret the Qns in this way, this is all i want to say: If they think the students' lvl of intelligence is only up to this standard, then don't bloody whine about our immatured behaviours!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! cos we have been always treated like a 3 yr-old kids by the sch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this superficial & useless dialogue session juz PISSED THE HELL OUT OF ME. it's purely a waste of my time... though i had a good laugh throughout the session. like what i've said... THIS GOT TO BE A JOKE & indeed, IT WAS A JOKE.

PS. be glad that i can still get angry... at least it shows that i'm still alive after being in the sch for 1 yr+. & i don't want 2b like a walking corpse pretending that there's nothing...

NOT using IE anymore~!!

i'm so sick of IE.

it juz gives me all sorts of funny problems that i can never imagine. the lastest problem i've encountered is... I CAN'T go back to the previous page i've visited!!!!! whenever i click the back button or press backspace, an error msg will show up forcing me to close that window i'm using. (if other windows are linked to this window, they will be closed together) WTH is this?!?!?! a propaganda making me never look back or something?!?!?!?! =_=" not to mention all those annoying pop-ups, browser hijackers, privacy hacks, & errors that will juz open literally hundreds of blank IE windows & crashing my system. *puke blood*

i've switched to Mozilla Firefox, like the other 50 million people in the world. after using Firefox for 30 min, i finally understand why microsoft IE calls Firefox its rival. there's a reason why 50 million people choose to use a browser that's not built-in to windows, meaning... u have to download manually & do the set-up = troublesome. cos Firefox is wayyyyyy better than IE. it's much more user-friendly, safer & free from the craps i've been experiencing for the past yrs. & there's a build-in pop-up blocker. wheeeee~

i think i'm going to stick to Firefox until a much safer & more advanced browser is been invented.
